Ten Suswa tents with ensuite bathrooms have been meticulously spread under the shade of the towering Marula trees in a grove not far from the Grumeti River, where huge crocodiles await their nervous prey. Tended to by our attentive staff, guests can wind down and reflect on the sights and sounds over soothing sundowner drinks with unforgettable views of the setting sun.
After dinner, guests often retire to the campfire for ‘digestifs’ and regale tales of bravado and excitement though the mesmerizing flicker of the flames. Our Serengeti Camp can be reached by air from the Grumeti airstrip (a 20 minute drive away), or by road from Ngorongoro ( 6 hour leisurely game drive through the park). This secluded location is only an hour from Lake Victoria, and 4 hours from the Kenyan border.
