Kervansaray Beach Lodge, is the home of Swahili Divers, Pemba’s first PADI 5 star gold palm resort, and Pemba Island’s first BSAC dive centre.
The Kervansaray is a series of spacious bungalows set in a lush green semi wild garden. The rooms are simple but comfortable. The restaurant serves a choice of dishes at each mealtime; vegetarians and various diets are catered for. The hotels fronts onto the sea, over a stunning volcanic rock beach.
Swimming is easy at high tide, and snorkelling the edge of the reef is recommended at low tide. A wooden deck juts out over the beach and guests congregate here for sundowners at the end of the day.
